Salute! Welcome to this humble page showing the location of hidden letters and dolls on this Gloriuos game called Wonderboy (I mean the original, arcade, '86)

I've look all over the net for many time this information and I've never found it. (Let's agree, hard as it could be, this is not a game for which people crash their heads for find information on it's secrets...)

So, once I discovered all of them... (or al least all the dolls and many letters) here I am, sharing it, paying my debt with this Great Great Game!

Just before the first bee, under the carrot.

ü (i.e. it’s visible, right in the air). In the case it were not visible, in order to make the doll appear, you must crash against the object shown here, even if it's a fire or an enemy. The object will explode and the doll will appear. The only "damage" is that it takes off a little bit of vitality (energy/time), like when tripping on a rock or on a platform edge.

The rock in the corner, on the left of the rising floor.

[4] Near the goal, just under the last pickle / ice-cream (after the last blue skull)

 

[3] There's a backwards frog (facing you). Don't kill him! Jump him several times (beware the snakes!) until he'll blow up and doll appears. Be careful with the last snake, because when the frog explodes, you'll flinch (like when you trip) towards it, and you may collide!

[1] On the left edge of the floor on which there’s a snail.

[2] After the two fires.

[4] The last rock on horizontal floor, i.e. the last rock before the slope.

[4] In the left edge or the goal platform.

[4] On a platform there are 3 stones and 2 snails, all togheter. The 3rd stone. (Be careful: if you crash the stone too on the right, in the flinch you'll collide with the snail)

[2] After the rolling-stone there are 2 fires. The letter is near the second one. But if you jump for get it, it'll be trapped inside the 2nd fire and you won't be able to get it (without gettin' roasted). So you'll have to shoot to get it …but a great accuracy is needed!

[2] After the slow rolling-stone, the rock in the higher platform (i.e., the second one)

[4] On the goal.

[3] The lonely rock on the higher platform. Don’t mistake: it’s not the rock in [2], lonely on the higher platform too, but on the right edge.

[4] The last 4 rocks are grouped 2 and 2. Jumping, the letter will be behind the 3rd stone. Although you’ll be able to get it without tripping, it’s very much comfortable to shoot at the left of 3rd stone.

ü(Please take the advice of someone who has got burned A LOT: if you don’t grab the doll, don’t go back because it’s too tall, you’ll loose time and get toasted when wanting to keep going).

[3] On a platform there are 3 blue-skulls. The letter’s in the right edge of the next platform from that one.

[2] The first ballerina

[2] After the rolling-stone there’s a hole (on which another rolling-stone will fall from the right). The letter is on the left edge of the hole (shooting). Jumping, it’ll be in the air and ungetable.

Before [3], there are 3 stones togheter. The middle one.

Just before [4] there is a snail. You won’t want to but …smash it, believe in me!

Under the last ballerina.

This one is really funny! You jump from a cloud to a island, and then a snake appears in the edge! Just when you’ll have a heart attack, it explodes and taraaan… the doll!

[3] ü (It’s kind of hidden behind the 2nd of the 3 stalactites. In other machines, the doll is visible and it’s the stalactite what’s is hidden… Careful there!)

Ballerina after the tough spring. (btw, if the consume speed is set on slow, I strongly recommend to be coward there and trip on every rocks. Same for 7.4)

[3] Last (3rd) ballerina. (don’t mistake with the 2 ballerinas later, on [4], in the slope)

 

 

Did you know? If you get all the dolls (28 in total, 7x4) our Honey won’t be there waiting for us at the end of 7th monster! Why?  Have she hooked up with another baby, blonder and with better axes? Or she’s changed us for someone “who’s not arround the world saving girls, someone who could really be there for her?” (Auch!)

 

Not at all! She’ll be there, but far beyond, because there’s an extra area (area 8)! God be with you if you manage to get there!

 

I’ll soon improve this page, adding the missing letter’s location, photos and videos, and also the hidden dolls on area 8!
